Here is what Im thinking.....
I decided to start blogging to write down things that I have been thinking about. My thoughts on life, traveling, being a young mom and coast guard wife. It's basically my own public journal. My hopes are, that I could help others through how my life has unfolded. While doing all of this, why not post a great recipe?! Food is a major part of my life, to the point that I should be a professional food connoisseur.
So let's get this started with a great story. We will travel back into history to tell a family joke that I created. For my 14th birthday, my family and I decided to play the awesome game of Taboo. How you play is one person from your team grabs a card and tries to explain that word written on the card for the other teammates to guess. I had the word, "Pisces". I was trying so hard to explain this word on the card before time ran out. I was saying, "This is me.....this is who I am......this was when I was born." I was a horrible explainer in the first place, but no one guessed what it was. Everyone was intrigued and said, "So what was the word?!" I said, "Feces! Im a Feces!". I always thought the way you pronounced the word "Pisces" was "Feces". And the sad thing was, I would tell other people that I was a feces!

Bake 13 minutes, let stand for 2 minutes.
Note: To make the perfect cookies. Take 2 ounces of cookie dough (a good spoonful), form partially into ball and place onto cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Place in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes. Once the cookie dough is lightly stiffened take out, and press your palm down on each cookie to form a circular shape. Once they are baked, each cookie will come out perfectly.

ReplyDeleteGlad to see you in the blogging world. I really need to update mine. I haven't blogged since we moved into this house. I have been so busy trying to do projects etc. You have motivated me to get back into it.
